6.1 Adverbs of Frequency | Grammar

In this topic, we will learn how to use adverbs to describe frequency.

An adverb is a type of word that describe a verb, in relation to time, place or manner. These words usually help us answer “how” questions.

Adverbs of frequency describe the number of times that something happens in a general way. Sometimes these words are definite, like daily, monthly or weekly. More often, these words are indefinite and people have to assume an estimate of the frequency.
